You probably forgot you subscribed to this :). It's the short newsletter I write most Saturdays about all things data visualization.

We're almost 20k here now, and this summer I finally built a little website to host every past issue.

A bit of humanity in this very digital world: my name is Yan and I've been deeply passionate about dataviz for a loooong time.

I've spent an unreasonable amount of my free time writing about Viz on free, open source sites like Data To Viz, Dataviz Inspiration and the 4 graph galleries.

That's probably how you ended up here!

What's coming this year

Besides my consulting work I'll keep sharing my thoughts and my obsession with graphs.

Here's what can help you:

• Daily posts on LinkedIn. If you can cut through the noise, there are good discussions happening there, and it's a great source of great charts.
• This newsletter, weekly. Short, one topic, every Saturday.
• A full revamp of Data To Viz. There are so many chart types missing, and the caveat gallery will double in size with dedicated flash cards.
• Dataviz Inspiration, growing fast. With AI, tech is not the tricky part anymore. Design is. So I believe this project is more helpful than ever: it's the best way to develop your design eye!
• A new cohort for D3 Loves React, my course on building bespoke charts. In the AI era, D3.js is the tool everyone is going to switch to, and previous students have had wild results.
